Forest Friends Ireland (Cáirde na Coille) is a charitable organisation (No. CHY 13972), a company of limited liability having no share capital (Co. No. 341054 incorporated 30/03/2001). Registered Offices are at 183 Howth Road, Dublin 3, Ireland.
Articles of Association. Forest Friends Ireland Articles of Association can be referred to in the Companies Office in Dublin or by request to the Secretary or any member of the committee.
Elected members of Forest Friends Ireland carry out the following organisational functions:
- CHAIRMAN
- VICE CHAIRMAN
- SECRETARY (which includes notification and convening meetings)
- MEMBERSHIP SECRETARY (which includes keeping records of and actively publicising and promoting membership)
- TREASURER (which includes updating our national strategy)
- ASSISTANT TREASURER (includes initiating and organising fundraising events)
- EXHIBITIONS (setting up and maintaining exhibition stands at functions)
- BRANCH DEVELOPMENT (includes the establishment of links with other EENGOS)
- WEB-SITE DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE
- REPRESENTATIVE TO CORE FUNDING
- NEWSLETTER (includes also leaflet and poster development and distribution)
- TREE PLANTING AND TREE NURSERY DEVELOPMENT (sub-committee)
- EDUCATION AND TRAINING OFFICER (which includes organising our annual events, seminars, workshops, lectures, walks, and sourcing funding to run these events and also the establishment and development of branches).
- PRO – (Establishing links with the press and developing a national profile also organising representation for specific events and occasions).
- PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING (including calendars, bags, biros, books, t-shirts, postcards, seed packs and other products)
